Not really sure how to write this one...
All I can say is, we are ok. Our surrogate miscarried yesterday. It was 12 weeks to the date of conception and she was already scheduled for an ultrasound. She began bleeding severely and when they performed the ultrasound her uterus was empty.
I am sure we are in a little shock, but at the same time, we know that God takes care of unhealthy babies this way - and there is tremendous reassurance in that.
We have some decisions to make now as to where we go from here. We had just sent the final payment to Rotunda so I have to see how much of a credit we will have with them before any further plans can be made.
Rest assured, we will keep trying.
Much Love,
Terry and Steve

I'm so sorry, it's bloody heart breaking...
Oh my... so very sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Take time to heal and be there for each other.
Words fail... We are so very sorry to hear this. Please take good care of yourselves.
This is so sad. We are so sorry.
Very sad news. I am so sorry to hear this.
It pulls the heartstrings to hear this news and reminds me how prescious life is and that the risk never completely understood until it touches us close to home. My heart is heavy for you both and I would encourage you to take some time to reflect. Peace be with you.
My heart aches as i read this. Take all teh time you need and i'm happy to hear u guys are moving forward.
Take care hun.
I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.
Hi Terry and Steve,
Truly miserable to read your post this time.
Our thoughts go out to you both.
Words are not enough....We are both thinking of you.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Terry and Steve. Nothing can prepare you for a miscarriage...I'm so sorry.
It sounds like you have the right kind of attitude though. It's important to keep going.

Take some time to regroup guys, and be kind to each other. Conception is always a miraculous thing - and that's before you add in surrogacy and being half a world away. Just remember this CAN happen and we're more of that proof as I'm sitting here typing this in our hotel in Mumbai as our twins will be arriving next week.

When I saw your post was untitled, my heart sank.
I am so so sorry for you both. I wish I had some words that would help you at this time, but know that we are all thinking of you during this difficult time.

This really sucks. I can only admire your courage guys. Don't give up.

I'm so sorry, please take care of each other!
I tried to write a comment several times, I just don't know of anything to describe how sorry I was to ready your post.
I'm very sorry to hear your news. We are also a gay couple who had similar results with Rotunda, though we did not make it as long as you did. I would recommend you ask for all medical reports as soon as possible. I'm not familiar with your whole story or if you have frozen embryos (Rotunda would not allow us to freeze) but if you are fortunate enough to be able to continue your pursuit, I would recommend that you explore the possibility of working with another clinic along with the option of continuing with Rotunda. You certainly have much more experience now with the process to help you make a decision how to proceed. I wish you good luck and again, sorry that the two of you are experiencing what we have gone through.
